The 2023 Australian Wedge Tail Eagle 1oz silver coin is the 10th release in the series and features a new reverse design of a Wedge Tail Eagle taking flight from a branch. The coin contains 1 oz of 9999 pure silver and has a face value of $1 AUD backed by the Australian government.
The obverse of the coin features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II with a commemorative 1952-2022 date mark, while the reverse was designed by former US Mint Chief Engraver John Mercanti. The mintage for the coin is limited to 50,000.
