The Rwandan African Ounce is a core bullion coin of Africa produced by the Bayer Mint for Rwanda. Each coin in the series features the same topographical map of Africa along with a different iconic animal from the continent. This coin features a Nile Crocodile on a riverbank with its mouth open on the reverse, while the obverse bears the Rwandan coat of arms along with the text ‘Central Bank of Rwanda’ and the value of one hundred Rwandan Francs written in Kinyarwanda.
