The obverse of the silver coin shows the coat of arms of Barbados along with the Barbadian motto “PRIDE AND INDUSTRY”. The obverse also contains information about the weight, purity of the metal, nominal value and the country of issue.
The reverse shows a pelican preparing to spread its wings. Additionally, on the reverse there is the inscription “CARIBBEAN SILVER” and information about the coin’s weight, fineness and year of minting.
