The 2018 Mrs Tittlemouse 50p coin has been issued to celebrate one of Beatrix Potter’s most loved children’s tales, ‘The Tale of Mrs Tittlemouse’. This is the first UK coin to feature Mrs Tittlemouse and is part of the third series of Beatrix Potter 50ps; the 2016 and 2017 series proved to be extremely popular with coin collectors. Designed by Emma Noble, the design features Mrs Tittlemouse in the centre of the reverse of the coin.

The obverse features the fifth portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, designed by Jody Clark. This portrait, which was first introduced in 2015, shows the Queen facing right, wearing the royal diadem.
